LESSONS FROM SURAH AL-KAHF: “Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - indeed, We will not allow to be lost the reward of any who did well in deeds.” [18:30]

Sometimes when you do something, whether it is in terms of service or volunteering- you may have put so much hard work into doing something or sacrificed a lot just to get something thing done, but the results aren’t  the best? Or you go out of your way to clean or do something for your parents but no one really acknowledges it but in turn they point all the negatives? Remember when this happens, that even though you did not get a positive result from the people,that your deeds or anything, no matter small it is, whether it is charity or service, Allah knows what you did and your reward is with Him if it is for his sake. We should expect our reward with him, inshaa’Allah.

Abû Hurayrah relates that Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak a good word or remain silent. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should show hospitality to his neighbor. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should show hospitality to his guest.” [ Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim ]
